TRUMANN - Mrs. Marguerite Viola Stacy, 84, of Trumann died Monday, March 16, 2015 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Ark. She was born in Trumann, Ark., and lived most of her lifetime in Trumann. She was a former member of the Order of The Eastern Star, in past years she worked at Humphreys Jewelry Store and was a manager of the jewelry dept. at Fred P. Gattas and she worked with her husband on the farm for many years. She enjoyed traveling, decorating, cooking and caring for her family and friends. She was a member of the women's missionary society at First General Baptist Church. She loved her Lord and her church family. She was one of Gods must faithful servants and a member of First General Baptist Church in Trumann. Mrs. Stacy was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur C. "A.C." Stacy; three brothers, Lyle, Curtis, and Cleetis Pankey and her parents, Granville Emmett and Viola May Pankey.
She is survived by one daughter, Ann Benson and husband Bart of Trumann; and one grandson, Bo Benson and wife Kalee of Trumann.
Celebration of her life will be Thursday evening at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Darrel Miller and Rev. Kenneth Doke officiating. Graveside service will be Friday at 12 noon in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark.
Honorary pallbearers will be the men of First General Baptist Church in Trumann, Ark.
Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home.
