Stars and Stripes fundraisers coming up
There are a few fundraisers happening soon for Tyronza's annual Stars and Stripes Jubilee, which is scheduled for June 11-13.
First up is an annual BBQ dinner and auction set for April 11. Items which have been donated for the auction include: a 128 piece wrench set from Barton's of Lepanto, spray tan session from Morgan Michaels, a Razorback blanket from the Nyal Drug Store, booster cables from Rusty's Garage, a Case IH Magnum 380 CVT toy tractor from Heartland Valley Implement, a car wash and oil change from Vaughn Ford, a gift certificate from Shear Images, a glass bird bath from Linda's Flowers, a $50 gift certificate from Family Care Pharmacy, two 2-piece fish plate certificates from Clara's Mid-Way Cafe, a car wash and detail from Neal's Detailing and Car Washing, a big wheel bike from True Value, a Black and Decker circular saw from Barton's of West Memphis, a small glass door cabinet from Bill Craft, an entertainment center, a used couch, miscellaneous house hold products, two 2-hour labor certificates from the Tyronza Volunteer Fire Department, and various baked goods.
Anyone wishing to donate an item to the auction may call Tyronza City Hall at 870-487-2168.
Boston butts are also on sale. They will be ready for pickup at noon on April 11. Tickets may be purchased at city hall.
This year, there will also be a unique fundraiser: 15 minute airplane rides. The rides will be on May 16 at the Marked Tree Airport. The cost for a 15 minute ride is $25. Anyone interested should call Tyronza City Hall to schedule a ride.
