HARRISBURG - Mrs. Juil Mae Britton Stevens of Harrisburg died Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro at the age of 93. Mrs. Stevens was born Monday, May 15, 1922 in Trumann and had lived the last 45 years in Harrisburg and was formerly of Marked Tree. She was a housewife and of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Stevens was preceded in death by her husband Otis "Ode" Stevens in 1994; one daughter, Billie Earlene Davis; one son, Otis Dewaine Stevens; two sisters; three brothers and was the daughter of the late Singleton and Maudie King Britton..
Mrs. Stevens is survived by three sons, Johnnie Willis Stevens of Festus, Mo., Jerry Laverne Stevens and Larry Ray Stevens both of Harrisburg; 18 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and 28 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were Oct. 26 at Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery in Harrisburg with Rev. Paul Peters officiating. Burial followed with Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann in charge of arrangements.
