Bay moved to 8-1 on the season with a 60-29 win over Hillcrest last Tuesday night in Bay. Taylor Layne led the Yellowjackets in scoring with 14 points, Jonathan Crain added 12 points and Dustin Utley netted 10 points for Bay. Bay's Junior Yellowjackets (9-2) also won by a score of 44-33. Layne Austin scored 15 points to lead Bay as Jay Jones added 14 points.

Kevin Burnett scored 13 points to lead Harrisburg (3-1) to a 65-52 win over Ridgefield Christian School last Tuesday in Jonesboro. The Hornets also had Tommy Maloney score 12 points as Gatlin Greeno and Walker Hammond scored 10 points each for Harrisburg. The Junior Hornets lost their game 40-25.

Bay's Lady Yellowjackets had four players in double digit points as they cruised past Hillcrest 83-34 last Tuesday in Bay. Katie Ferguson led the way with 20 points followed by Whitlee Layne with 18 points. Mallory Hartley finished with 16 points and 12 rebounds as Sarah Blackman chipped in with 10 points. Tot Diaz scored 21 points to lead Bay to a 36-25 win in the junior high game.

The Lady Warriors of EPC (6-1, 3-0 2A-3) got 25 points from Krystan Vornes as they downed Marmaduke 79-67 in conference action this past Monday in Lepanto. Becca Bishop and Bailey Constant each had 10 points each for EPC. The Junior Lady Warriors lost 44-31 in their game.

Whitlee Layne scored 21 points to lead Bay (11-2) past Armorel this past Monday night. The Lady Yellowjackets also had Katie Ferguson with 16 points, Baylee Bowers netted 13 points and Mallory Hartley chipped in 10 points. The Junior Lady 'Jackets (11-4) got 16 points from Tot Diaz as they won 43-24.

Bay moved to 2-0 in 1A-3 conference play with a 61-43 win over Armorel this past Monday in Bay. Taylor Layne led the Yellowjackets (9-1) with 29 points followed by Jonathan Crain with 14 points and Dustin Utley with 11 points. The Junior Yellowjackets (10-2, 2-0) got 26 points from Dax Gibson as they won 56-27.

D'Angelo Griffin scored a game high 26 points for Marked Tree (2-2, 1-2 2A-3) but it wasn't enough as Earle handed the Indians an 83-53 loss in conference action this past Tuesday in Marked Tree. The Junior Indians lost 45-41 despite 25 points from Jack Brown.

EPC (4-2, 3-0 2A-3) downed Marmaduke 68-54 behind Xzavier Reed's 26 points this past Tuesday in Lepanto. Travis Joplin and Keyon Dorsey each added 10 points for the Warriors. In the junior high game, Rayshon Gates scored 14 points as TJ Bush and TySean Garrett each chipped in 10 points as the Junior Warriors won 48-15.

In the Gerald Jennings Tournament at Manila, the EPC Lady Warriors opened with a 61-11 win over KIPP. Krystan Vornes led EPC with 18 points. Marked Tree fell to Riverside 52-19 in high school action as the Junior Lady Indians also fell to Riverside 41-15 in junior high action.
