Marked Tree got 23 points from D'Angelo Griffin and 19 points from LaQuentin Miles as they beat Riverside 72-56 in boys' high school basketball action this past Friday in Marked Tree. The Junior Indians also won 50-45 with Jack Brown scoring 24 points.

Trumann's Junior Wildcats advanced to play in the championship game of the Pre-Holiday Tournament being held in Piggott. Ben Turner scored 12 points while CeJayy Booker and Cody Roland each scored 10 points as they beat Brookland 42-32. Harrisburg fell to Ridgefield Christian in a consolation game 39-27. Brennon Honeycutt tossed in 10 points for the Junior Hornets.

Harrisburg (7-5) topped Trumann 54-49 in a consolation game of the Pre-Holiday Tournament in Piggott this past Saturday. Dylan Mathis led the Hornets with 17 points with Walker Hammond and Gatlin Greeno each scoring 13 points. Kelon Booker led Trumann with 15 points.

Trumann had three players in double digit scoring but it wasn't enough as the Wildcats lost to Westside 70-59 this past Monday night in boys' high school basketball. Connor Haag led Trumann with 18 points as Jay Jones finished with 16 points and Kevonte Andrews chipped in 11. The Junior Wildcats came up short in a 39-35 loss.

The Harrisburg Lady Hornets (7-2, 2-0 4A-3) got 24 points from Kylie DeVries and 15 from Emily Armstrong as they beat Brookland 51-45 this past Monday. The Junior Lady Hornets fell to Brookland 49-18.

Bay's Lady Yellowjackets (17-2) made it 14 wins in a row as they defeated Riverside 56-26 this past Monday night. Katie Ferguson led Bay with 19 points, Whitlee Layne tossed in 16 points and Baylee Bowers netted 10 points. The Junior Lady Yellowjackets fell 33-32 as Olivia Ferguson scored 15 points and Bailee Kirby added 10 points.

Trumann fell 79-28 to Marmaduke this past Monday night in girls' high school basketball action. Taelor Gartman led the Lady Wildcats with 10 points. The Junior Lady Wildcats also lost 54-23.

Krystan Vornes had 17 points and 17 rebounds to lead the EPC Lady Warriors (9-3, 5-0 2A-3) to a 51-36 over Rector this past Monday. The Junior Lady Warriors got 24 points from Bre Ward as they won 36-34.
