Junior Lady Warriors get conference win

EPC (10-5, 7-2 2A-3) jumped out to a 5-0 lead and never looked back as they down conference rival Marked Tree 37-23 this last Thursday night in Lepanto.

Kayla Reel opened the scoring with a steal and layup, Tileyah Ward hit one of two free throws and Bre Ward got a steal and layup to make it 5-0 EPC. MaKayla Marshall for Marked Tree scored on a stick back to make it 5-2 before the Junior Lady Warriors scored the next nine points to make the score 14-2 EPC. Bre Ward connected on a three-pointer and followed with a coast to coast lay up, Tileyah Ward got a steal and lay up and Bre Ward hit two free throws. Taylor McCuiston hit one of two free throws for the Lady Indians and Keragan Gordon hit one of two free throws for EPC making the score 15-3 Junior Lady Warriors. Marshall scored off an offensive rebound for Marked Tree at the buzzer to make the score 15-5 EPC after one.
