Junior Wildcats cruise past Harrisburg for win

Trumann opened the game with a 9-0 run and never looked back as the Junior Wildcats took a 70-18 conference win over the Harrisburg this past Friday night at Wildcat Gym.

TJ McGuire opened the scoring for Trumann hitting three of four throws on back to back trips to the foul line to give the Junior Wildcats a 3-0 lead. CeJaay Booker hit two free throws before MJ Barnes scored back to back baskets as Trumann increased their lead to 9-0 Junior Wildcats. Drew Wright hit one of two free throws for Harrisburg to make it 9-1 only to see Barnes and Trenton Becker score back to back baskets for Trumann to make the score 13-1 with 1:30 left. David Whitman scored inside for the Junior Hornets before Jesse Penter drilled a three-pointer for Trumann right before at the buzzer to make it 16-3 Junior Wildcats after one.
