Junior Lady Warriors fall in district semi-finals

EPC had no answer for Earle's potent offense as the Junior Lady Bulldogs raced out to 19-2 first quarter lead on their way to a 57-14 win in their semi-final game of the 2A-3 junior district tournament in Lepanto.

Roshala Scott opened the game with back to back baskets for Earle to make it 4-0. Tileyah Ward hit a running jumper in the lane to make it 4-2 Junior Lady Bulldogs. Scott drilled a three-pointer and Kelsey Moore got a stick back basket as Earle increased the lead to 9-2 with 2:55 left. Earle got back to back baskets from Taklah Tomlis and Tasja Hughey before getting back to back baskets from Scott making it 17-2 Junior Lady Bulldogs. Hughey went coast to coast finishing with a jumper to make the score 19-2 Earle at the end of one.
