The Lady Hornets got a 4A-3 conference doubleheader sweep of Cave City this past Thursday in Harrisburg. Harrisburg won the first game 10-0 before taking the second game 7-3.

In the opener, Keely Edwards collected four hits, scored three runs and had a RBI to lead Harrisburg at the plate. Jehlian Wright added two hits, a run scored and three RBIs, Jessica Webb had two hits, two runs scored and two RBIs, Melanie Jackson had two RBIs and Ansley Wixson scored two runs. Caitlyn Adams got the win allowing no runs on four hits with three strikeouts. In the second game, Keely Edwards again led Harrisburg at the plate with three hits, one being an inside the park home run, a run scored and four RBIs with Wixson finishing with two hits and a run scored. Adams got the win again in the circle giving up three runs on seven hits while striking out three.

Bay's Yellowjackets lost 6-2 to Riveriside this past Monday in high school baseball action in Lake City. Ryan Austin, Nolan Smith and Ashton Darby each had two hits for Bay. Darby and Jordan Jackson each had a RBI as Ryan Austin and Layne Austin each scored a run. Austin Jackson took the loss for Bay giving up five runs on 11 hits while walking two and striking out one.

The Trumann Lady Wildcats were handed a 9-2 loss by Marmaduke this past Monday in non-conference softball action in Marmaduke. Lexi Jackson took the loss for Trumann as she gave up five runs on four hits in two innings of work. Taelor Gartman had two hits and scored a run for the Lady Wildcats as Anna Waleszonia added a hit and scored a run.

Harley Daniels got the win for Marked Tree in the circle allowing four hits with 10 strikeouts and led the Lady Indians as the plate with three hits, one being a home run, and five RBIS as Marked Tree beat Bay 18-3 this past Monday in Bay. Brittany Pharis scored two runs with two RBIs, Ally Byers scored four runs, Madison Carroll scored two runs with two RBIs, Kayli Walker scored two runs, Taylor Hannah had two hits, scored two runs and had two RBIs, Dejana Thomas scored two runs as Cam Willoughby scored two runs with two RBIS for the Marked Tree. Baylee Bowers, Katie Ferguson and Mallory Hartley each had a hit a run scored for Bay as Emily Rush had a hit and two RBIs. Baylee Bowers took the loss for Bay as she gave up nine runs on eight hits with five walks and three strikeouts.

Trumann split a conference doubleheader with Brookland this past Tuesday losing the first game 7-4 and winning the second 18-11. In game one, Dylan Qualls had two hits, a run scored an a RBI to lead the Wildcats at the plate. Jerrad Carter took the loss for Trumann giving up six runs on eight hits in four and one third innings. Trumann's offense came alive in game two as Woods had four hits, Qualls collected three hits as Gartman, Moye and Carter each had two hits. Qualls drove in five runs, Carter drove in three runs with Moye and Woods each driving in two runs. Woods and Moye each scored four runs, Gartman scored three runs as Qualls and Carter each scored two runs. Woods got the win on the mound as he gave up 11 runs on nine hits with 11 strikeouts.

The Harrisburg Lady Hornets took two conference wins from Gosnell this past Tuesday winning the first 15-2 before taking eight innings to win the second 15-14. In the opener, Keely Edwards and Jessica Webb led the way with four hits each, Sidney McMullin had three hits with Jehlian Wright and Melanie Jackson getting two hits each. Webb had three RBIs as Keely Edwards and Allie Lawson had two RBIs each with Lawson's coming on a home run. Keely Edwards scored four runs, McMullin scored three runs with Webb and Wright scoring two runs each. Caitlyn Adams got the win for Harrisburg as she gave up two runs on five hits with three strikeouts. In the nightcap, Webb, Lacey Lambright and Wright each had three hits for Harrisburg as Ansley Wixson and Abby Edwards finished with two hits each. Webb and Wright both had three RBIs with Lambright adding two RBIs. Webb and Keely Edwards each scored three runs as Cassie Armstrong, Lambright and Abby Edwards scored two runs each. Adams picked up the win going seven innings in relief. She gave up seven runs on seven hits with five strikeouts.

Trumann's Lady Wildcats earned a split with Brookland with a 3-2 win in the second game of a conference doubleheader. Brookland won the first game 5-4 in the bottom of the seventh. In game one, Taelor Gartman had a home run as one of her three hits on the day. Gartman also had three RBIs and two runs scored. Anna Waleszonia had two hit and two runs scored as Olivia Greenwell, Daly Taylor and Hannah Craig each had two hits. Craig took the loss for Trumann giving up five runs on 11 hits with two strikeouts in six and one third innings of work. In game two, Lexi Jackson got the complete game win giving up two runs on seven hits with three strikeouts. Hannah Wood led the Lady Wildcats as the plate with two hits, a RBI and a run scored.
