Lady Hornets lose thriller to Valley View

Harrisburg rallied back from a 2-0 deficit to take a 3-2 lead only to see Valley View score two runs in the fifth and one in the sixth to take a 5-3 win over the Lady Hornets this past Friday at Valley View.

The Lady Hornets went three up three down in the top of the first as Jessica Webb struck out leading off as Keely Edwards followed by popping out. Ansley Wixson struck out for out three. Kaylea Roethlisberger gave the Lady Blazers a 1-0 lead with a solo home run in the bottom half of the inning. Harrisburg again went down in order in the top of the second inning as Jehlian Wright, Caitlyn Adams and Sidney MuMullin all struck out. Valley View threatened to score in the second but left two runners on as the inning ended with the Lady Blazers up 1-0.
