Lady Wildcats shutout Marmaduke 2-0

Trumann gave a little payback for a 9-2 loss earlier in the season at Marmaduke as the three Lady Wildcat pitchers combined to allow five hits in 2-0 win over the Lady Greyhounds this past Monday in Trumann.

Marmaduke threatened to score in the top of first as the first two batters reached via a hit batsman and a single. A sacrifice bunt moved the runners up a base before Lady Wildcat pitcher Anna Waleszonia got a pop up for out two and struck out the next batter to end the threat. Waleszonia led off for Trumann with a double before being moved to second on a sacrifice bunt by Lexi Jackson. Taelor Gartman popped out before Hannah Wood singled to score Waleszonia to make it 1-0 Trumann. Olivia Greenwell popped out to the inning.
