EPC cut Tuckerman's 5-1 lead to 5-3 in the top of the sixth but couldn't get any closer as the Lady Bulldogs ended up taking a 6-3 win over the Lady Warriors in the opening round of the 2A North Regional tournament last Thursday in Marked Tree. EPC finishes their season with a 11-10 record.

The Lady Warriors got on the board first as Bailey Constant led off with a single. Madison Wiggins grounded out moving Constant to second who scored when Jaleigha Garrett doubled to make it 1-0 EPC. Sarah Tacker reached on an error before Kurstin Bryan looked at strike three and Becca Bishop went down swinging. Tuckerman got a two-out walk only to leave the runner stranded as Tacker got a ground ball for the third out. EPC went down in order in the top of the second inning as Amelia Worsham and Christian Hinson each flew out and Bre Ward struck out. The Lady Bulldogs got runners to second and third with two outs but a called third strike got Tacker and the Lady Warriors out of the scoring threat to keep the score 1-0 EPC after two.
