Freezer Thompson inducted into wrestling hall of fame

Trumann's William "Freezer" Thompson added another honor to his wrestling career as he was inducted into the Mid-Southern Championship Wrestling Hall of Fame. This is Thompson's second hall of fame honor as two years ago he was inducted by the ASWF.

Joining Thompson with inductions in the hall were Bid Daddy LaFonce, Ms. Sandra, White Lightning, All-American Frankie Tucker, Hambone Leroy, Hambone Pedro, Spyro, Sid Vicious, Midnight Cowboy, Moondog Spot, Bradley Knight, Johnny Rotten, Tommy Rogers, Mike Grimes, Serpent, Cowboy Jessie and Anstress Goyner.

Thompson is a Trumann native and started his wrestling career shortly after graduation from Trumann High School in 1979
