Lake Poinsett is still doing well minnows and goldfish. For crappie, catfish and bass. The bream have slowed down and are biting okay on nightcrawlers.

Water is clear and at normal level on Crown Lake with surface water temperature in the upper 80's. Bream are biting good on worms and crickets with crappie being good on minnow and jigs. Bass fishing has been good late in the day hitting on plastic worms with the catfish catch being reported as good.

Big trout has been reported being caught at Spring River in the clear waters. Guppies, olive Woolly Buggers and Y2k's have been the hot files. Hot pink Trout Magnets and blue spinners have been good on with spin fishers.

The White River near Newark reported the water is clear but hot. Bream are fair and are hitting on crickets with the bass fishing also being fair on plastic worms. There was no report on crappie, catfish or walleye
