EPC (1-1) scored on the first offensive play of the game and never looked back on their way to a 44-0 win over rival Marked Tree (0-2) this past Thursday night at Warrior Field in Lepanto.

Bradley Ainsworth fell on Marked Tree's squib kick to start the game giving the Junior Warriors the ball on their own 44-yard line. EPC wasted little time as Preston Rains found Jamario Crawford for a 56 yard touchdown pass on the first play from scrimmage to make it 6-0 Junior Warriors with 7:48 left. Andrew Lung was stopped short on the two-point conversion run. Marked Tree started their drive on their own seven-yard line after a penalty on the kick-off return. The Junior Indians moved the ball out to their own 42-yard line before the drive stalled and they were forced to punt with under a minute left in the opening quarter. The quarter ended with EPC leading 6-0.
