EPC (4-2, 2-0 2A-3) fell 12-6 to Des Arc in non-conference football action this past Friday in Des Arc. Chanc Gray passed for 80 yards and touchdown while adding 31 yards rushing to lead the Warriors' offense. Eric Driver and Trevor Walker each had 48 yards rushing as Jonathan Gilmore caught two balls for 36 yards and a touchdown. Gray finished with 12 tackles with Gilmore adding 11 tackles for the EPC defense. Walker and Andrew Cavitt finished with nine and eight tackles respectively.

Trumann (4-2, 1-2 4A-3) was stopped deep in Gosnell territory as the Pirates held on for an 18-13 win over the visiting Wildcats. Cade Gartman rushed for 115 yards and a touchdown to lead Trumann while Garrett Woods completed three of five passes for 31 yards and an interception. Gartman, Jay Morgan and Will White each had a catch for Trumann. Jesse Penter led the Trumann defense with seven tackles.

Marked Tree (3-3, 1-2 2A-3) got their first conference win of the season with a 49-8 win over Midland this past Friday night. The Indians rushed for 213 yards as a team with Julian Booker leading the way with 58 yards a touchdown. AJ Ellifritt rushed for 56 yards and a touchdown, Paul Coleman had 34 yards and a touchdown as Braidin Hall added 34 yards and a touchdown. Jack Brown completed three of seven pass attempts for 78 yards and a touchdown as Kentarius Allen caught two passes for 50 yards and a touchdown with Colby Malone catching one pass for 28 yards. Nick Andrews and Jacob Ellis led the Marked Tree defense with seven and five tackles respectively as Allen had an interception return for a touchdown with AJ Johnson getting an interception and Hall recovering a fumble.

Harrisburg's Junior Hornets (2-4, 0-4 4A-3) lost 32-0 to Highland this past Thursday night in junior high football action. Presley Witt led the Harrisburg offense completing two of three pass attempts for 17 yards. Drew Wright had one catch for nine yards as Brennon Honeycutt had one catch for eight yards. Ross Heeb led the Harrisburg defense with five tackles.

The Junior Warriors of EPC (2-3, 2-2 2A-3) were on the road at Rector and were handed a 24-0 loss by the Junior Cougars. Preston Rains led EPC with 20 yards passing and 11 yards rushing. Hank Knapp added 15 yards rushing with Austin Baker finishing with 16 yards receiving. Knapp led the defense with eight tackles and Gilmore had six tackles.

Marked Tree (2-3, 2-2 2A-3) suffered a 28-0 loss at the hands of the Salem Greyhounds this past Thursday night. Eli McCrary completed four of ten passes for 44 yards with three interceptions as Cameron Wray caught two of those passes for 42 yards. Devonta Williams and Michael Williams each had seven tackles for the Junior Indians' defense as Wray, Michael Williams and David Gilley each had a fumble recovery.
