Harrisburg got down early and never recovered as they fell to Rivercrest 72-54 this past Tuesday in Harrisburg. Gatlin Greeno led the Hornets in scoring with 13 points as Tommy Maloney added 10 points.

Bay held on for 55-46 win over BIC this past Tuesday in conference action in Bay. Taylor Layne led the Yellowjackets with 18 points as Dustin Utley finished with 11 points. Bay lost the junior high game 50-34.

Trumann lost a heart breaker this past Tuesday as Brookland hit a 40-foot three-point shot at the buzzer to beat the Wildcat 52-51 at Wildcat Gym. Kelon Booker led Trumann in scoring with 16 points as Ben Turner tossed in 14 points. Brookland won the junior high game 60-36.

Jessica Webb scored 17 points to lead Harrisburg to a 36-34 win over Rivercrest this past Monday in Wilson. Kylie DeVries added 11 points for the Lady Hornets. Harrisburg lost the junior high game 39-24.

The Bay Lady Yellowjackets got 17 points from Whitlee Layne and 11 points from Mallory Hartley to beat the BIC Lady Mustangs 47-37 this past Monday in Bay. Bay won the junior high game 26-15.

Lexi Jackson scored 11 points and Zaria McGuire added 10 points but is wasn't enough as Trumann fell to Brookland 58-38 this past Monday in Brookland. Trumann also fell in the junior high game 37-8.

Marked Tree beat Corning 67-24 advancing in the Gerald Jennings Holiday Tournament being held in Armorel. Tray Brown led the Indians with 13 points as Markel Perry-Washington netted 12 points and Colby Malone scored 10 points.

EPC lost their opening round game of the Gerald Jennings Holiday tournament to Riverside by a score of 87-64. J'Sebian Brown led the Warriors with 26 points as Des Barnes tossed in 13 points and Xzavier Reed finished with 10 points.

Harrisburg lost to Westside 74-58 this past Monday in high school basketball action in Jonesboro. Zach Biggers led Harrisburg with 21 points as Tommy Maloney added 19 points. Westside won the junior high game 63-40.

Tullia Tull scored 11 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead Marked Tree to a 49-30 win over Cross County this past Thursday. CJ Barnes added 14 points for the Lady Indians. The Junior Lady Indians won 53-52 in double overtime. The Lady Indians were back in action last Friday as they beat KIPP Blytheville 63-12 as CJ Barnes scored 12 points. Angel Barnes added 11 points for Marked Tree. The Junior Lady Indians won 38-6.

Marked Tree got 11 points from Colby Malone as the Indians led 21-0 after the first quarter on their way to a 55-23 win over KIPP Blytheville last Friday in Marked Tree. Markel Perry-Washington pulled down 11 rebounds for the Indians. Marked Tree won the junior high game 43-24.

Bay went 1-2 in the Barry Pruitt Hurricane Classic played December 1-3 in Jonesboro. They Yellowjackets lost their opening game to Jonesboro 73-39. Bay came back the next night and downed Hot Springs 80-79 in overtime behind Taylor Layne's 35 points. Dustin Utley added 26 points for the Yellowjackets. Bay fell to Westsdie 70-64 in their last game of the tournament. Layne again led Bay in scoring with 23 points as Utley and Nolan Smith added 11 and 10 points respectively.
