The Bay Lady Yellowjackets were on the road this past Tuesday at Earle and were handed a 68-58 loss by the Lady Bulldogs. Whitlee Layne scored 34 points to lead Bay. The Junior Lady Yellowjackets also lost by a score of 41-25 as Olivia Ferguson scored 13 points.

Bay (15-10) fell to Earle 66-39 this past Tuesday in boys' high school basketball action this past Tuesday in Earle. Taylor Layne led the Yellowjackets with 10 points. Earle won the junior high game 32-28 as Braison Morris scored nine points for Bay.

Harrisburg (8-10) lost 79-63 to Westside this past Tuesday night in Harrisburg. Gatlin Greeno led the Hornets with 25 points as Gavin Casebier added 14 points. Westside also won the junior high game 69-49.

Trumann had four players hit the double digit mark in scoring as the Lady Wildcats beat Gosnell 57-50 this past Monday at Wildcat Gym. Zaria McGuire scored 17 points to lead Trumann with Olivia Greenwell adding 13 points, Tay Smith tossed in 12 points with Star Simmons finishing with 11 points. Trumann won the junior high game as Hannah McClaughlin scored 11 points and Haley Mathis added 10 points for the Junior Lady Wildcats.

Markel Perry scored 16 points and pulled down 18 rebounds to lead Marked Tree past Cross County 75-29 this past Friday in Marked Tree. Colby Malone added 17 points as Jack Brown tossed in 11 points. Cross County won the junior high game 37-18.

Bay (15-9) hung on for a 57-55 win over Shirley this past Friday in high school boys basketball action in Shirley. Taylor Layne scored 20 points to lead Bay as Dustin Utley and Tyler Hartgen scored 12 and 11 points respectively.

Harrisburg (9-8) took a 46-37 road win at Gosnell this past Thursday. Jessica Webb and Cassie Armstrong each scored 10 points for the Lady Hornets.

EPC (5-10) got 14 points from Becca Bishop as the Lady Warriors downed Armorel 41-20 this past Thursday in Lepanto. Bre Ward also hit double digits for EPC with 11 points. Armorel won the junior high game 39-18.
