The Harrisburg Lady Hornets fell to Riverside 48-35 this past Monday at Harrisburg. Jessica Webb led the Lady Hornets in scoring with 11 points. Riverside won the junior girls' game 48-21.

Bay's Taylor Layne scored 24 points to lead the Yellowjackets to a 52-31 win over Cross County this past Saturday in Cherry Valley. Dustin Utley added 18 points as Nolan Smith finished with 12 points. Bay won the junior high game as Ian Kiech tossed in 25 points with Tyler Hartgen adding 12 points.

Trumann went on the road this past Friday suffering a 71-59 loss at the hands of the Manila Lioins. Ben Turner led Trumann in scoring with 21 points as Kelon Booker netted 19 points and Aaron Hamilton tossed in 10 points for the Wildcats. Manila won the junior high game 44-28.

The Harrisburg Hornets fell 46-36 to the Brookland Bearcats this past Friday in high school basketball action in Brookland. Gatlin Greeno led Harrisburg with 18 points as Walker Brown finished with 10 points for the Hornets. Brookland won the junior high game 56-26.

Tray Brown scored 17 points for Marked Tree as they defeated Buffalo Island Central 63-36 last Thrusday in Marked Tree. Kentarius Allen added 12 points for Marked Tree. BIC won the junior high game 45-18.

The Trumann Lady Wildcats won a 40-39 thriller over Manila last Thursday at Wildcat Gym. Olivia Greenwell led the Lady Wildcats with 10 points on the night as Star Simmons added nine points. Manila won the junior high game 23-21.

Marked Tree's Lady Indians fell to Buffalo Island Central 44-41 last Thursday in girls' senior high action in Marked Tree. Tullia Tull scored 13 points to pace the Lady Indians with Jayla Carter adding 11 points and CJ Barnes tossing in 10 points. Tull also pulled down 10 rebounds. Marked Tree won the junior high game 30-15.

Harrisburg's Lady Hornets fell 73-67 in double overtime to Brookland last Thursday in Harrisburg. Kylie DeVries led Harrisburg with 21 points as Keely Curtis added 17 points, Cassie Armstrong 12 points and Emily Armstrong 10 points. Brookland won the junior high game 46-15.
