Whitlee Layne scored 23 points to lead the Bay Lady Yellowjackets to a 65-27 win over Rector this past Tuesday in Bay. Sydney Higgins tossed in 15 points as Sarah Blackman finished with 10 points.

Harrisburg's three-pointer at the buzzer was off its mark as the Hornets lost a nail-biter 59-57 to Osceola this past Tuesday in Harrisburg. Gavin Casebier lead Harrisburg with 20 points and 16 rebounds with Zach Biggers and Tommy Malone adding 19 and 11 points respectively. Osceola won the senior B game 45-37.

Bay got 19 points and 12 rebounds from Dustin Utley as the Yellowjackets beat Rector 79-51 this past Tuesday in Bay. Taylor Layne finished with 16 points, Nolan Smith netted 11 points as Dax Gibson tossed in 10 points.

The Trumann Junior Wildcats lost their district opener 52-29 to Gosnell this past Monday ending their season. Logan Creekmore led Trumann with 12 points.

Trumann's Lady Wildcats lost to Riverside 66-54 this past Monday in basketball action in Trumann. Zaria McGuire scored 18 points to lead Trumann as Star Simmons and Tay Smith scored 12 and 11 points respectively for the Lady Wildcats.

The EPC Warriors held on for a 55-54 win over Marmaduke this past Friday in boys' senior high basketball action in Marmaduke. J'Sebian Brown scored 20 points to lead EPC as Xzavier Reed added 11 points. Marmaduke won the junior high game 37-30.

The Marked Tree Lady Indians beat Armorel 43-20 last Thursday as CJ Barnes scored 13 points to lead Marked Tree. Jayla Carter added 10 for the Lady Indians. Marked Tree won the junior high game 33-30.

EPC's Lady Warriors lost to Earle 59-43 last Thursday in Lepanto. Jaleigha Garrett scored 13 points to lead EPC.

Harrisburg went on the road last Thursday and were handed a 63-37 loss at the hand of Osceola. Gatlin Greeno led the Hornets with 11 points. Osceola won the junior high game 58-28.

Bay got 20 points from Dustin Utley as the Yellowjackets beat Cross County 62-43 in senior boys' basketball last Thursday in Bay. Caleb Hartgen finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds as Taylor Layne added 12 points. Bay won the junior high game 50-21 behind Tyler Hartgen's 16 points and 11 rebounds.
