Lady Indians win at home over Cross County

Harley Daniels allowed two hits while striking out nine as Marked Tree downed Cross County 3-1 in softball action this past Tuesday in Marked Tree.

Cross County got on the board with a run in the top of the first inning to go up 1-0. Ally Byers struck out leading off for the Lady Indians as Brittany Pharis and Daniels had back to back singles. Cam Willoughby was hit by a pitch only to see Baily Dunn and Sydney Rotscheid both pop out to leave the bases loaded keeping the score at 1-0 Lady Thunderbirds. Cross County couldn't muster much offense in their half of the second inning as the score stayed 1-0 Lady T-Birds. Marked Tree went three up three own in the bottom half as Dejania Thomas and Angel Barnes both struck out as Megan Lowry grounded with the score staying 1-0 Cross County.
