Lady Warriors win on Brewer's walk-off

Jordyn Brewer singled to score Sarah Tacker in the bottom of the seventh giving EPC (12-6) a 4-3 win over Marmaduke (18-3) this past Friday in Lepanto. The win was the Lady Warriors first ever win over the Lady Greyhounds.

Jordan Mays struck out leading off for Marmaduke as Natalie Lentz followed with a ground out. Sammi Henry walked before April Kennedy looked at strike three. Tacker struck out for EPC as Bailey Constant singled. Meagan Allen popped out and Brewer went down looking to end the first inning. The Lady Greyhounds went three up and three down in the second inning as Natalie Shelton popped out, Bailey Bridges lined out and Rachel Martin grounded out. Madison Wiggins popped out for EPC leading off the bottom of second before Jaleigha Garrett popped out. Amber Pate singled only to be left on base when Bre Ward struck out as the game stayed scoreless.
