Wright picked for all-state softball team
Harrisburg’s Jehlian Wright capped off her sophomore softball season with her selection to the Class 4A all-state softball team. Wright was productive at plate as well as a smooth defensive player from her shortstop position. Wright batted for .516 for the Lady Hornets to go along with a .589 on-base percentage and a .759 slugging percentage. Wright drove in 36 runs on the season while scoring 30 runs. Named most valuable player for her team, Wright also earned all-conference and played in the sophomore/junior showcase. She also helped lead her team to a district championship and a state in the state softball tournament.
