Hartley chosen for all-state softball team

Bay's Mallory Hartley was selected to the Class 1A all-state softball team for her accomplishments on the diamond for the Lady Yellowjackets softball team. Hartley batted .566 this past season with 30 hits, six homeruns, 21 RBIs, 23 runs scored and 15 stolen bases in helping the Lady 'Jackets to a conference runner-up and a birth in the 1A-2 regional tournament. She had a 1.132 slugging percentage to go along with a .629 on-base percentage. Hartley led Bay in homeruns, RBIs, runs scored and slugging percentage. She was also selected all-conference. “Hard working great athlete and an even better kid,” Bay head softball coach Ryan Childers said of Hartley.
