Lady Hornets get sweep over Trumann

Harrisburg (4-1, 3-0) went on the road last Thursday and recorded a 25-23, 25-18, 25-22 three game sweep of conference foe Trumann Lady Wildcats.

Emily Newcomb led Harrisburg with 30 assists while going 15-16 serving. Jehlian Wright was 11-11 serving with two aces, Olivia Deckleman had 17 kills, one block, 12 digs, three aces as she went 11-12 serving, Shaw Faulkner was 13-14 serving with two aces and 17 digs as Lacey Lambright finished with 16 digs and two aces for the Lady Hornets.

No stats were made available from Trumann at press time.

In the seventh grade game, Harrisburg won both games by the identical scores of 16-15. The Trumann Junior B team won their game 25-7 as the Junior High Lady Hornets got a 2-1 decision over the Junior Lady Wildcats, 25-16, 15-25, 15-12.
