Trumann (8-1, 5-1) traveled to Cave City this past Friday night and handed the Cavemen a 43-9 loss in 4A-3 conference football action. Cade Gartman had 15 carries for 159 yards and three touchdowns to lead Trumann as Will White completed four of eight passes for 61 yards and two touchdowns to go along with six carries for 87 yards rushing. Noah Milligan added four carries for 22 yards and a touchdown. MJ Barnes had two catches for 44 yards and a touchdown with Alex Moses catching two balls for 17 yards a touchdown. Jarred Carter had five tackles to lead the Wildcats' defense with Drake Evans totaling four tackles. White, Jones and Moses each had an interception as Gartman and Milligan each recovered a fumble for the Wildcats.

Preston Rains' touchdown pass to Andrew Harston tied the game at six and Eric Driver's two-point conversion run gave EPC an 8-6 lead in the third quarter as the Warriors' defense made it hold up this past Friday in a big 2A-3 conference game at Lepanto. Driver finished the night with 21 carries for 92 yards and a two-point conversion run as Austin Baker had eight carries for 35 yards. Rains completed eight of twelve passes for 90 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Harston caught six balls for 66 yards and a touchdown. Peyton Phillips led the defense with eight tackles as James Lard chipped in seven tackles. Rains had four solo tackles and two interceptions with Heath Cavitt causing two fumbles.

Harrisburg (3-6, 1-4) couldn't make a 26-14 halftime lead hold up as Brookland came back to beat the Hornets 36-26 in high school football this past Friday at Brookland. Clay Wright completed 11 of 16 pass attempts for 248 yards and four touchdowns with one interception on the night. Lance McGinnis finished with 63 yards on 14 carries as Ross Heeb added two carries for 28 yards. Gavin Casebier caught five passes for 130 yards and four touchdowns as Dylan Mathis had three catches for 37 yards with Weston Stanford grabbing two passes for 36 yards. Heeb led five defenders in double digit tackles with 14 followed by Jamason King with 13. Mason Summers had 12 tackles as Dakota Bass and Parker Jones each had 10 tackles. Parker Jones, Ray Michael Jones, Brian Vaden and Daniel Jobe each had a sack as Tayshaun Warren added an interception.

Gaven Guy rushed for 173 yards, three touchdowns and two-point conversion to lead the Trumann Junior Wildcats (4-5, 2-5) to a 40-14 win over Cave City in their season finale last Thursday in Trumann. Izzy Carillo added 55 yards on three carries and a touchdown, Rian King had three carries for 42 yards and a touchdown, Connor McClain had 10 carries for 40 yards and a two-point conversion as Wade Brown had a touchdown run. Garner Henderson had a two-point conversion run. Azani Smith led the defense with four tackles as Wade Brown added three tackles. Gunner Baine had an interception for the Junior Wildcats.
