Trumann's Junior Wildcats got 21 points from Chris Weeb but it wasn't enough as Valley View posted a 48-34 win in the Jack Moore junior high tournament in Valley View. Webb hit five three-pointers in the game. Trumann played MacArthur in the opener losing 50-13. The Junior Lady Wildcats were also in tournament action this past Tuesday losing to Brookland 36-29.

The Bay Yellowjackets (1-5) picked up their first win of the season with a 62-35 win over KIPP Blytheville this past Tuesday. Slade Grove and Dax Gibson each scored 12 points to lead Bay in scoring. The Junior Yellowjackets (2-4) got 19 points from Paiton Hartley in their 44-26 win.

Bay (5-1) got 23 points from Mallory Hartley and 20 points from Sarah Blackman as the Lady Yellowjackets cruised past KIPP Blytheville 68-6 this past Tuesday nigh in girs' basketball action in Bay. The Bay Junior Lady Yellowjackets also won their game 41-14 with Mikaela Jolly scoring 17 points and Destiny Bogard adding 11 points.

Marked Tree (7-2, 5-1) downed Cross County 50-34 this past Friday at Don Lovell Memorial Field in Marked Tree to claim second place in the 2A-3 conference. The Indians will host Spring Hill in the opening round of the Class 2A state playoffs on November 10. Julian Booker led the Indians on offense going 11 of 18 passing for 186 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 52 yards on 20 carries and a touchdown. Paul Coleman had 14 carries for 215 yards and four touchdowns with three catches for 45 yards. Gavin Lowry had seven catches for 97 yards and a touchdown as Jack Brown had one catch for 44 yards and a touchdown. Lowry had seven tackles and a fumble recovery to lead the defense. Brown also had seven tackles as Jamaria Anderson recovered a fumble.

Harrisburg (4-6, 1,6) fell 44-6 to Gosenll last Thursday in the Hornets' final game of the season. Jett Jackson led the Harrisburg offesne completing 11 of 15 passes for 107 yards with two intereptions. Lance McGinnis finished with 60 yards on nine carries as Tayshaun Warren had five carries for 28 yards. Enelio McGinnis had a touchdown run. Gavin Casebier had five catches for 45 yards as Weston Stanford added three catches for 38 yards.
