Harrisburg falls at home to Junior Pirates

The Junior Hornets could only muster nine points in the first half as they fell behind 26-9 at the break and could never catch up as Gosnell posted a 50-30 win in junior high basketball action this past Tuesday at Harrisburg.

Gosnell jumped out to a 4-0 lead before River Carter hit a jumper for the Junior Hornets to make the score 4-2 Junior Pirates with 3:11 left. Gosnell pushed the lead to 7-2 before Keaton Speer put back an offensive rebound for Harrisburg to make it 7-4. The Junior Pirates hit three of four free throws over the last minute of the quarter to take a 10-4 lead after one.
