Coleman tabbed for 2A all-state football team

Marked Tree's Paul Coleman had a break out senior in helping lead the Indians to a 10-2 record, a conference championship and to the second round of the state football playoffs. Coleman amassed 1,766 yards rushing on 168 carries with 27 touchdowns. He added 281 yards on 16 catches and three touchdowns. On the defensive side, Coleman made 37 solo tackles with 24 assists. He had three quarterback sacks, seven tackles for a loss, two forced fumbled and one fumble recovery. “He's a great athlete and a great kid,” Marked Tree head coach Waylon Dunn said of Coleman. “He's a quiet leader and leads by example. He will be severely missed. He's one of those once in a lifetime athletes,” Dunn added.
