TRUMANN - Mrs. Linda Leona Floyd, 74, departed this life on Friday, February 23, 2018 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Ark. She was born April 27, 1943 in Lynn, Ala., and had lived in Trumann for the past 11 years and was formerly of Hardy. She was a housewife and member of the Christian Life Fellowship in Jonesboro. Mrs. Floyd was preceded in death by one sister, Era Evelyn Vickers; one brother, James Denver Hall; her father, Otis D. Hall and her mother Lettie A. Hatley Morley.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, William David “Bill” Floyd of the home; one daughter, Lisa Liane (Stan) Brooks of Lawrenceburg, Tenn.; two sisters, Carolyn Benson of Trumann and Rebecca Hall of Bartlett, Tenn.; one brother, Jimmy Earl Hall of Sommerville, Tenn.; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four nieces and three nephews.
Funeral services were held February 27 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Chandler officiating. Burial followed in the Holly Springs Cemetery near Harrisburg, Ark.
Pallbearers were Joey Wilson, Greg Wilson, Paul David Brooks, Christopher George, Junior Manley, Coty Manley, Shelby Irwin and Kevin Hall.
