EPC (3-0) got 14 strikeouts from Hunter Taylor as the Warriors beat Cross County 6-1 this past Tuesday in Lepanto. Taylor gave up the one run on three hits and two walks. Korben Wiggins had three hits, two runs scored, a RBI and three stolen bases to lead the EPC offense. Peyton Phillips had a hit and two RBIs, Gavin Constant had two hits and a RBI as Lane Sanders had a hit and a RBI for the Warriors.

Madison Wiggins had two triples and four RBIs to lead the EPC Lady Warriors to a 16-1 win over Cross County this past Tuesday in Lepanto. Keragan Gordon, Bre Ward and Taylor Hannah all had two hits for EPC. Meagan Allen struck out 12 batters allowing one run on two hits to pick up the win for the Lady Warriors.

Harrisburg freshman pitcher Kloey Harlson tossed a no-hitter this past Tuesday in a 16-1 win over Riverside in Lake City. Harlson struck out 11 batters on the day. Jehlian Wright led the Lady Hornets with four hits, one a home run, four runs scored and three RBIs. Caitlyn Adams had two hits, two runs scored and two RBIs, Harlson had two hits and three RBIs, Cassie Armstrong had a run scored and three RBIs, Anna Walker had a hit and three runs scored, Hayden Hopkins had two runs scored and a RBI as Ansley Wixson and Jayden Roark had a run scored and a RBI for the Lady Hornets.

Hayden Malone struck out 12 batters as EPC downed Trumann 11-1 in high school baseball action this past Friday in Lepanto. Peyton Phillips had to hits and two RBIs, Preston Rains had a hit and three RBIs, Hunter Taylor had a hit and a RBI as Malone also had a hit for the Warriors. Jackson Walton had two hits for the Wildcats as Brant Montgomery had seven strikeouts on the mound with Dakota Craig striking out four batters.
