Trumann (6-13, 5-7) posted a 25-21, 25-14, 25-20 straight set match win over Cedar Ridge this past Monday at Wildcat Gym. Mallory Mincy led the Lady Wildcats with seven kills and nine assists, Mycha Wilson had six kills, Maci Williams had 13 assists, Christian Jean-Paul tallied four blocks as Hannah McClaughlin finished with six digs and five aces. The Junior Lady Wildcats won their match 25-11, 25-6.

Harrisburg (3-12, 2-10) went on road to Piggott and were handed a 12-25, 12-25, 7-25 loss by the Lady Mohawks. Stats were not made available to the paper by press time.

EPC (4-1, 2-0) cruised past Midland 46-6 this past Friday at Warrior Field. Andrew Harston had a big night for the Warriors with three catches for 104 yards and three touchdowns and one carry for 55 yards and a touchdown. Rayshon Gates finished with five carries for 129 yards and two touchdowns, Preston Rains completed 8 of 11 passes for 147 yards and three touchdowns as Austin Baker had one carry for 38 yards and a touchdown. Ty Garrett led the EPC defense with five tackles including a sack and a fumble recovery, Gates tallied six tackles as James Lard and Hank Knapp each had a fumble recovery.

Will White scored three touchdowns to lead Trumann (2-3, 1-1) past Brookland 27-10 this past Friday night at Brookland. White scored on a touchdown run, returned a kick-off for a touchdown and added an interception return for a touchdown. Jay Morgan had 14 carries for 63 yards and a touchdown to go along with two receptions for 29 yards. MJ Barnes caught four passes for 54 yards while adding 12 tackles on defense. Milligan also had 12 tackles as Jaden King recovered a fumble for the Wildcats.

Marked Tree (1-4, 1-1) got their first win on the season this past Friday with a 26-12 win over McCrory. The Marked Tree defense were the stars of the night as they recorded three touchdowns. Chris Ivy had a scoop and score with Isreal Malone and AJ Johnson both having interceptions that were returned for touchdowns. Jack Brown had 12 carries for 59 yards to lead the offense with Kylen Johnson chipping in 21 yards on six carries. Jamaria Anderson had seven tackles and a sack as Kylen Johnson also had seven tackles.

Harrisburg (5-0, 3-0) stayed unbeaten on the year as they downed Piggott 32-22 last Thursday at Piggott. Samuel Moore had a big day for the Junior Hornets as he completed five of eight passes for 166 yards and four touchdowns while rushing for 64 yards on five carries and a touchdown. Colby Summers added 39 yards on eight carries with a two-point conversion run. James P

EPC (3-0-1, 2-0-1) had four different players rush for a touchdown in their 38-0 win over Midland last Thursday. Dennis Gaines led the way with four carries for 90 yards and a touchdown while also returning a fumble for a touchdown, Carter Smith had three carries for 47 yards and a touchdown, Candon Argo had two carries for 32 yards and a touchdown as Kade Jennings had three carries for 20 yards and a touchdown. David Yerbey had an interception for the EPC defense.

Marked Tree (1-3, 1-2) lost 32-8 to McCrory last Thursday in junior high football action. Aayden Johnson led the Junior Indians' offense with six catches for 123 yards and a two-point conversion run. Brylan Honeycutt was 8 of 16 passing for 211 yards as LaRay Brown had 12 carries for 30 yards and a touchdown. Zander Criswell had one catch for 55 yards as BJ Marshall had one catch for 33 yards. Marshall also had five tackles on defense with Corey Jacobs recovering a fumble.
