Big fourth quarter helps Lady Wildcats to home win

Trumann outscored Tuckerman 18-7 in the fourth quarter to erase a seven point on their way to a 48-44 win over the Lady Bulldogs this past Monday in Trumann.

Mallory Hartley gave Trumann an early 3-0 lead with a three-ball only to see the Lady Bulldogs score back to back baskets to make it 4-3 Tuckerman. Daly Taylor hit a jumper in the lane before Tuckerman scored the next 12 points to go up 16-5 with 1:03 left. The Lady Bulldogs added a three-pointer late to make the score 19-5 Tuckerman after one.

Hartley scored back to back baskets to open the second quarter as Hannah McClaughlin canned a three-ball and Tay Smith hit a running jumper to cut the lead to 19-14 Lady Bulldogs. Tuckerman hit a jumper in the lane as Kayla Spence stuck back an offensive rebound and Haley Mathis scored inside to make it 21-18 Tuckerman. Hartley canned a three-pointer at the buzzer to make it 21-21 at the half.
