Lady Warriors take 51-29 win over Marked Tree

Makayla Marshall scored inside to give Marked Tree the early 2-0 lead only to see Bre Ward make back to back baskets and hit one of two free throws to give the Lady Warriors a 5-2 lead. Kayla Reel drilled a three-pointer for EPC before the Lady Indians got back to back baskets from Marshall and Taylor McCuiston to make it 8-6 Lady Warriors with 2:30 left. Bre Ward hit a jumper in the lane for EPC, McCuiston scored inside for the Lady Indians as Reel hit one of two free throws to make the score 11-8 EPC at the end of one.

Bre Ward hit a jumper in the lane early in the second quarter for EPC as the Lady Indians got a jumper from McCuiston to make it 13-10 Lady Warriors. Tileyah Ward got a stick back for EPC, Keragan Gordon hit one of two free throws for the Lady Warriors as Reel converted an old-school three-point play for EPC to make it 19-10 Lady Warriors with 2:17 left. Daija Allen hit a three-pointer for the Lady Indians, Bre Ward scored inside for EPC as Gordon hit one of three free throws after being fouled attempting a three-pointer to give the Lady Warriors a 22-13 lead at the half.
