Junior Lady Wildcats hold on for 32-30 win over Osceola

Trumann made Kayde Jonesí jumper in the lane with 12 seconds left hold up as the Junior Lady Wildcats beat Osceola 32-30 this past Saturday at Wildcat Gym.

Kayde Jones canned a three-pointer and Nygeria Jones hit two free throws to give Trumann an early 5-0 lead before the Junior Lady Seminoles scored inside to make it 5-2 with 3:08 left. Jaidyn Chappell hit one of two free throws before Kayde Jones hit one of two technical free throws to make the score 7-2 Junior Lady Wildcats. Kayde Jones scored inside for Trumann as Osceola got a running jumper in the lane to make the score 9-4 Junior Lady Wildcats after one.

Osceola scored back to back baskets to open the second quarter to make it 9-8 Trumann as Nygeria Jones hit one of two free throws for the Junior Wildcats to make it 10-8 Trumann. Osceola hit one of two free throws as Nygeria Jones hit one of two free throws for the Junior Lady Wildcats to make the score 11-9 Trumann with 2:13 left. The Junior Lady Seminoles converted a conventional three-point play only to see Chappell can a three-ball for the Junior Lady Wildcats to make the score 14-12 Trumann at the half.
