Hubert Kenneth Tidwell

Hubert Kenneth Tidwell of Plant City, Fla., departed this life on Feb. 24, 2019. He was born July 22, 1952, in Jonesboro to Raymond Hubert Tidwell and Margaret Imogene Crocker Tidwell. He was a retired carpenter, welder, and of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include his son, Mitchell Tidwell Lucas of Bartlesville, Okla. He is also survived by five grandchildren and three great grandchildren, along with his mother, Margaret Imogene Baxter of Searcy, Ark.; step-father, Mike Baxter of Searcy, Ark.; step-mother Hester Tidwell of Wasola, Mo.; Charles Lee Wilson of Dover, Fla.; three sisters, Shirley Long and Brenda Winters, both of Trumann, and Taryn Sicks of Plant City, Fla; several neices and nephews; his beloved cats; and a host of relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Hubert Tidwell, and by three brothers, James Eugene (Jimbo) Tidwell, Danny Joe Tidwell, and Ricky Lynn Wilson; his maternal grandparents, Albert and Jenny Crocker; and his paternal grandparents, Clyde Tidwell and Ebble Tidwell Demay.

Graveside services were held March 1 at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Wasola, Mo.

Kenneth was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
