Harley Daniels hit a two run home run in the bottom of the eighth inning to give Marked Tree an 11-9 win over Cross County this past Tuesday. Daniels finished with three hits and three RBIs on the day. Ally Byers had five hits, Alana Williams had four RBIs, Brooklyn Tacker had two hits and a RBI as Shelby Tacker had two RBIs for the Lady Indians.

EPC went on the road to Barton and suffered a 10-7 loss to the Lady Bears this past Tuesday. Keragan Gordon had three hits, a run scored and a RBI for the Lady Warriors as Meagan Allen had a hit (home run), a run scored and two RBIs. Emili Mangrum had two hits and a run scored, Jordyn Brewer had a hit, a run scored and a RBI as Mayce Brewer had a hit. Zoe Constant had a run scored and a RBI, Abby Martinez had a RBI as Kaylee Hood and Bre Ward each scored a run. Allen suffered the loss for EPC as pitched six innings giving up 10 runs on 11 hits with four walks and 13 strikeouts.

Marked Tree beat Cross County 12-2 this past Tuesday in high school baseball action in Marked Tree. Brennon Honeycutt led the Indians with two hits, two runs scored and two RBIs, Aiden McGuire added two hits and two RBIs, Zander Criswell had a hit, two runs scored and a RBI as Eli McCrary had two RBIs. Honeycutt pitched a complete game giving up two runs on six hits with no walks and eight strikeouts for Marked Tree.

Trumann fell behind 8-0 after two innings and could never recover as the Lady Wildcats lost 10-4 to Rivercrest this past Monday in Wilson. Daly Taylor led Trumann at the plate with three hits and three RBIs as Hannah McClaughlin had a hit and a RBI. Sydney Callahan had a hit and two runs scored as Karsen Overshine had two hits and a run scored and Maddie Roach had two hits. Hazel Russell scored a run for the Lady Wildcats. Devin Overshine took the loss for Trumann as pitched six innings giving up 10 runs on 15 hits with two strikeouts.

Harrisburg’s Kloey Harlson only needed 46 pitches in a 14-0 no-hitter over Harding Academy this past Monday in Jonesboro. Harlson struck out 10 batters with the only runner reaching via an error. Harlson also had a good day at the plate with two hits (one a three run home run), a run scored and four RBIs. Ansley Wixson also had two hits, two runs, scored and two RBIs, Cassie Armstrong had a hit, a run scored and two RBIs, Kendyll Grissom had a hit, two runs scored and a RBI as Gretchen Morgan had two hits and two runs scored. Hayden Hopkins and Anna Walker both had a hit and a run scored, Jehlian Wright scored two runs with Destiny McGuire adding a run scored for the Lady Hornets.
