Marked Tree fell behind 13-0 early and could never catch up as the Indians fell to McCrory 27-12 in the semi-finals of the 2A-6 district tournament this past Tuesday in McCrory. Zander Criswell had two hits, two runs scored and two RBI as Braden Francis had a hit and two RBI. Eli McCrary added a hit, two runs scored and two RBI with Jarrett Harsson finishing with two hits, two runs scored and a RBI. Brennon Honeycutt took the loss for Marked Tree as he pitched two innings giving up eight runs on seven hits.

Meagan Allen and Zoe Constant combined to toss a perfect game this past Tuesday in an 18-0 win over Clarendon in the opening round of the 2A-6 softball district tournament in McCrory. Allen pitched the first two innings striking out five of the six batters she face as Constant struck out two of the three batters s she faced. Jordyn Brewer lead EPC at the plate with one hit (home run), a run scored and two RBI as Madiline Glover scored a run with two RBI. Constant had two hits and two runs scored, Gordon had a hit (inside park home run), a run scored and a RBI, Allen had a hit (inside park home run), a run scored and a RBI, Mayce Brewer had a hit, a run scored and a RBI as Sarah Truelove, Abby Martinez and Edith Santos each scored two runs. Veronica Raines had a hit and a run scored, Chloe Parnell had a run scored and a RBI as Emili Mangrum and Kaylee Hood each scored a run for the Lady Warriors.

Harrisburg shut out Cedar Ridge 19-0 this past Monday in their opening round game of the 3A-2 district baseball tournament being played at Tuckerman. Drew Wright lead the Hornets at the plate with one hit (home run), one run scored and four RBI while also getting the win on the mound pitching three innings while giving up no runs on one hit with three walks and six strikeouts. David Whitman and Jacob Wallace each had a hit, a run scored and RBI, Presley Witt had a hit, three runs scored and a RBI as Caleb Neal had two hits, two runs scored and a RBI.

The Trumann Wildcats baseball season came to an end as they fell 6-5 to Rivercrest in the opening round of the Region 3A-3 baseball tournament this past Tuesday. The game was suspended in the sixth inning on Monday due to darkness with the game tied at 5. Luke Montgomery led the Wildcats with two hits, two runs scored, a RBI and two stolen bases as Izzy Carillo had two hits and a RBI. Brant Montgomery had two hits and a run scored as Jackson Walton and Dustin Osment each had a hit and a run scored. Brant Montgomery was the tough luck loser pitching one-third of an inning giving up one run on no hits with one hit batsman. Osment pitched 6 and two-thirds innings allowing five runs on three hits with one walk, six strikeouts and three hit batsman.
