Bobby Joe Farmer

Mr. Bobby Joe Farmer of Trumann departed this life on Friday, October 4, 2019 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Ark. at the age of 78 years, 10 months and 1 day. He was born Tuesday, December 3, 1940 in and had lived most of his lifetime in Trumann. Bob was an Engineer with Singer Furniture Company until the plant closed in 1981. He moved to Lenoir, NC to be the plant manager at Singer Furniture Company, then moved to Hickory, NC to be plant manager for Broyhill Manufacturing. Bob moved back to Trumann in 1998 to be Designer/Engineer at Baldwin Piano Company and Global Furniture. Bob was a member of Trumann Lions Club for 30 years and was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by three brothers, J.R. Farmer, Jimmy Farmer, and Curtis Farmer; and his parents, Frederick Denton and Lola Mae Duncan Farmer.
